Residents should be aware of a road closure in effect this morning.

Residents should be aware of a road closure in effect this morning.

Police have reported a sinkhole on Steeles Ave West between McMurchy Ave and McLaughlin Rd West due to a watermain break in the area.

Peel Public Works is on scene for repairs.

All westbound lanes between McMurchy and McLaughlin are currently closed. Eastbound lanes remain open.

Residents are asked to use alternate routes for now.
