A young girl from Brampton is hoping to become $1 million richer tomorrow night when this season’s winner of America’s Got Talent is crowned.

Eleven-year-old Roberta Battalia earned her spot in the finals after her initial audition inspired the show’s newest judge, Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara, to hit her golden buzzer, sending Battalia straight to the live show.

During her semi-final performance, Battalia once again wowed the judges with a rendition of Pink’s “What About Us.”

Battalia was inspired to pursue music by her father, who was an engineer at a local radio station. “He would sing at restaurants and I would sing ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’ when he would leave the microphone on the floor,” she said on the show.

During part one of this season’s finale, Battalia started things off with her final performance, the first one of the night—a rendition of “Scars to Your Beautiful” by fellow countrywoman, Alessia Cara.

Battalia’s performance once again wowed the judges, with Howie Mandel suggesting the competition is hers to win.

Now, she’ll be hoping to collect enough votes to take home the grand prize—$1 million and a show to headline in Las Vegas.

Part two of this season’s finale will air tomorrow (September 23) night at 8 p.m.
