If you love to shop, and you love to shop local and support local business, an event is happening in Brampton for the first time ever and you won’t want to miss it!

All things homemade are coming to the Lakeside Garden Gallery’s first annual Makers Market.

You might want to grab some cash and a coffee and head over to explore.

The unique new market is happening this weekend on September 22 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m, and September 23 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

A ton of vendors are coming out.

Over 40 local vendors and crafters will be selling one-of-a-kind goods on both days.

You can expect to shop everything, including unique hand made items, fashion, jewelry, food, pet products, and much more.

Which vendors can you expect?

Chawin’s Workshop sells garden puns, quips and quotes on tiles, City Kat Designs boasts handmade greeting cards, notepads, and wine bottle tags, Tiptoe Rugs has a selection of unique rugs, you can expect cool candles from June & Rose Candle Co., and several jewelers are coming out, including Mint Jewelry, Beading Soul, and Colleen Poitras.

As for food vendors, you’ll find JJ’s Buttertart and Pastry Co., The Chocolate Shop, the Lakeside Garden Gallery fruit and Vegetable Market, and more.

“Lakeside Garden Gallery has been a community staple in Brampton for the past 34 years, over those years we have met some talented people,” reads a recent statement from event organizers.

“This year Lakeside is opening its doors to all local makers who are looking to showcase their handmade goods. The market will take place in our back annuals department offering covered selling space surrounded by beautiful fall flowers.”

Lakeside Garden Gallery is located near Heart Lake Conservation Area.
