Condo townhouses typically cost $488,711, while condo apartments cost $397,240. A row/townhouse costs about $625,679, which isn’t that much less than a semi. While the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment costs about $1,728.

However, a new condo development is coming to the area of Mount Pleasant, and though the prices have yet to be determined, more options result in lower prices.

Mattamy Homes is constructing UNION Mount Pleasant Condos at Lagerfeld Drive in Brampton. The development is currently in the preconstruction phase.

The urban-inspired condo development boasts one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units each with about 2 bathrooms. With units ranging from 500 square feet to 1,080 square feet, they are all $5,000 with an offer. Even better, potential homeowners can also choose to have a den with their unit.
