A popular GTA multicultural festival is coming to Brampton.
A popular GTA multicultural festival is coming to Brampton.
On August 17, the GTA West Community & Health Services Inc is hosting the Multicultural Fest. The event will be held at the Brampton Soccer Centre, which is located at 1495 Sandalwood Parkway East. The free family event will start at 9 a.m and end at 8 p.m.
Last year, around 3,000 people attended the event from different communities across the GTA. According to the GTA West Community & Health Services Inc, around 5,000 people will attend the event this year.
Like always, the organization is focusing on cultural communities that are prevalent in the Peel Region. The event will showcase 15 different cultures including Indian, Pakistani, Portuguese, Philippines, Nepali, Columbian, Chinese and more.

The event aims to bring the community together to exchange information about cultures through food, arts, sports and entertainment. People can also partake in yoga, Zumba, seminars, drug awareness presentations and giveaways.
This year would be the organization’s ninth year hosting the event.
