Who doesn’t love ice cream?

Then Brampton has some deliciously good news for you.

Baskin-Robbins, one of the most famous ice cream franchises in the world, recently announced that they are opening another location in Canada’s ninth largest city.

It would make this the sixth Baskin-Robbins franchise located in Brampton, and the 99th store across Canada.

The new location will be at 77 Quarry Edge Drive, just off of Main Street and Bovaird Drive.

“At over 1,000 square feet, the new location features a bright ambience, vibrant colours, seating for 18 and  upright display freezers to display beautifully custom and grab-and-go style cakes,” Baskin-Robbins Canada stated in their press release.

Durgesh and Rakesh Sikka own and operate the new location, their third within the Baskin-Robbins system. The couple also operate and own other locations in Brampton at 20 Brisdale Ave and 120 Clementine Drive.

“Baskin-Robbins has been a great partner for us,” says Durgesh Sikka. “We’ve enjoyed the journey and the support given to us over the years. We’re very enthusiastic about the future and welcome people to come and try us if they haven’t in a while.”

The new location will feature Baskin-Robbins’ signature customizable cakes – made in-store, milkshakes in any flavour combination, a wide assortment of frozen treats, fresh baked waffle cones, warm cookie ice cream sandwiches and the brand’s traditional 31 ice cream flavours.

A plan to hold a grand opening celebration is scheduled before the holiday season.
