It’s almost time for the Christmas season, and one of Brampton’s traditional events celebrating the holidays was to host a Christmas market at Garden Square.
But this year, the city is doing something different: Brampton is hosting an indoor ‘Holiday Pop-Up Shoppe’ in downtown Brampton.
The indoor holiday event will run from Friday, November 16 to Sunday, November 18 inside Brampton City Hall and the Conservatory, and will feature some of the following:
-
City Hall Atrium will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland Scene.
-
There will be free apple cider.
-
Make your own ornament station.
-
Light painting photo booth.
-
Free photos with Santa in Santa’s Lounge in the City Hall Atrium, and pets are welcome.
Saturday November 17 will feature a number of special events:
-
10:30 am – 11 am: Circle time in the Atrium. Gather around for a fun holiday story
-
11 am – 12 pm: Olaf is coming to town! Don’t miss your photo opportunity in the Atrium!
-
12 – 2 pm: an expert from Flora Flowers & Gifts will offer a demonstration on how to make holiday floral arrangements
2 – 3 pm: transform a Dash robot into a snow plough and program it to clear a path for Santa’s sleigh!
A variety of vendors will be on hand to sell a number of seasonal items.
Food vendors include Chrome on the Range, Texas Tornado, Tiny Toms Donuts and Sul Iramos.
But also be mindful of a number of road closures because of the indoor holiday pop-up, as well as the annual Santa Claus parade.
