After an extremely popular Brampton restaurant closed its doors for good and turned into a food truck instead, many Bramptonians were pretty upset that it would no longer have a permanent location in the city.

Sul Irmaos Smokehouse may have officially closed its brick-and-mortar location on George Street on November 26, 2017, but it will now be returning to Brampton every Thursday with its food truck at 1272 Queen Street West, near Queen Street and Chinguacousy Road starting this Thursday, February 15!

The southern smokehouse and Portuguese fusion food vendor will set up shop on Queen Street on Thursdays from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. serving up about 10 menu items, with a mix of meals, sides, and even their popular po’boy sandwiches.

It’s true that Chef Jonathan Pereira will be cooking up your favourites, like chicken and coleslaw, mac’n’cheese bites, and even pulled pork poutine.

If you don’t want to wait in what might be an extensive line for the You Gotta Eat Here-featured joint’s “Throwback Thursdays” on Queen Street, you can actually pre-order your meal.

Fun fact: Sul Irmaos also still caters.

Stop salivating – here’s a look at their menu and how to pre-order:
