If you are a fan of desserts and afternoon tea, then you may want to attend this event!

Sweet Homage Confections will be hosting a Caribbean-inspired afternoon tea and dessert experience.

Sweet Homage Confections is a baking service with a Caribbean flair. The owner, Nadeisha Pinnock, uses flavours such as sorrel (hibiscus flowers), mangoes, pineapples and other spices in her cheesecakes and cupcakes. Each dessert pays tribute to generations before Pinnock who lovingly created desserts for families and friends to enjoy.

Sweet Homage Confections will also be hosting the first pop up shop alongside the Caribbean themed afternoon tea experience. The one-day event will give people the chance to come and try various Caribbean fusion desserts while socializing with friends, meeting new people, and getting to know Sweet Homage Confections.

The event will be held at 1000 Steeles Ave E on September 15 from 1 p.m to 5 p.m. Tickets are available on Eventbrite for $32. People will be able to try their Caribbean fusion tea sandwiches, finger food and mini desserts. There will also be tea and Jamaican Hot Chocolate and Mimosas. Tickets also include a surprise swag bag. Vegetarian and Vegan options will be available.

If you fall in love with Sweet Homage Confections, guests can also buy an exclusive Sweet Homage sampler pack that includes 6 cupcakes/cheesecakes.
