Brampon Man Pronounced Deceased After Single-Vehicle Collision

A Brampton man has died after a collision near Wawa, Ontario.

On August 6 at 12:44 a.m, the OPP, Algoma Emergency Medical Services and the Wawa Fire Department responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 17 approximately 30 kilometres south of Wawa, Ontario.

The investigation has revealed that a south bound single motor vehicle left the roadway striking a rock cut. Four occupants of the motor vehicle were uninjured however, Choudhry Nouman Ahmed Tariq, 41-year-old man from Brampton, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The OPP are continuing their investigation.
