Superbowl LII is happening very soon, and amidst the face-off and epic advertisements, an internationally popular Brampton comedian will have a few spots to entertain audiences everywhere.

On Sunday, February 4, 2018, you can catch Superbowl LII on CTV, CTV Two, and TSN2 starting at 6 p.m., with pre-game coverage starting at noon. This year, reigning AFC champions the New England Patriots will take on the NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles from the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The Super Bowl always has solid entertainment and advertisements lined up alongside the game, and this year, Brampton comedian Russell Peters will be a part of the live game fun. 

TV network CTV has confirmed that “it has nabbed international comedic superstar Russell Peters to keep Canadians laughing throughout the SUPER BOWL LII broadcast. Peters will appear in a series of humorous video bits, only available to Canadian viewers watching on CTV, CTV Two, and TSN2.”

New 2018 advertisements and fan favourite advertisements from past years, Justin Timberlake for the half-time show, and CTV will hold the $300,000 Watch to Win contest, where viewers can win a trip to next year’s Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, a 2018 Nissan Titan, or one of three cash prizes including a grand prize of $150,000.

Following the game, you can catch popular TV series This is Us, and the cast (including big names Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia) will be on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon afterwards. 

So, there you have it — Brampton’s making it big on the Super Bowl map this year!
