Terry Walters of Brampton has just won $100,000 in the April 21, 2020 Lotto Max draw.

Walters, a 34-year-old married father, says he’s a regular Lotto Max player.

“I always play ENCORE,” he told OLG.

“I was just having a conversation with my brother-in-law about what we would do if we won the lottery. On my way home, I stopped for gas and checked my tickets – that’s when I saw the Big Winner message on the screen!”

The tire repair worker told OLG that after the initial shock settled, he called his brother-in-law. “I said, remember what we just talked about? Well, it happened and it’s not a dream!”

Walters doesn’t have immediate plans for his winnings but plans to spend it cautiously, according to OLG.

“This is beautiful. I got quite the payday today.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Sandalwood Parkway in Brampton.
