A Brampton father is celebrating a big lotto win.

OLG says Winston Robinson has $60,271.70 to put toward his dreams after winning a Lotto Max second prize in the August 7, 2020 draw. Robinson matched six numbers plus the bonus number to win the prize.

A 51-year-old father, Robinson discovered his win at a retailer.

“I noticed there wasn’t a long line at the cash register, so I decided to check my tickets with the cashier,” he told OLG. “Then the cashier said, ‘Don’t go anywhere, OLG needs to speak with you.’ I had no clue how much I won.”

When Robinson realized he won he said, “Wow, this is an exciting appetizer to the main course – a jackpot win.”

Robinson told OLG he plans to invest his winnings.

“I feel like my eyes have been opened to the possibilities,” he concluded.

The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on Mountainash Road in Brampton.

OLG is now accepting in-person prize claims by-appointment-only for customers with prizes of $1,000 or more who wish to claim at the OLG Prize Centre.
