Brampton is receiving some legit recognition for its festivals.
In fact, four major, classic events in Brampton have officially been recognized as some of the best events in Ontario.
Festivals and Events Ontario released its Top 100 recipients and among them are some familiar shindigs held each year.
Mark your calendars for this year’s jams – some of them are coming up fast:
CeleBRAMPTON: June 09, 2018
Brampton Celebrates Canada 150: July 01, 2018
Christmas Tree Lighting: Nov. 16, 2018
Brampton New Year’s Eve: Dec. 31, 2018
Neighbouring cities also made appearances on the list, such as Mississauga with the Carassauga Festival from May 25 to May 27; the Bread and Honey festival in Streetsville on June 1 to June 3; Italfest, which runs Aug. 17 to Aug. 18; MuslimFest on Aug. 31 to Sept. 2.
The winners were honoured in Hamilton on March 2.
