Here’s your chance to make your thoughts heard to the local federal candidates in Brampton.

Ahead of the 2019 Canadian federal election, Brampton will be hosting local candidates at a town hall on October 9 to discuss the issues that matter most to residents.

The event will be open to the public and will take place at 7 pm at the Rose Theatre. The event will also be streamed live on Facebook.

“The choices we make can have a significant impact on local issues – and we need local representatives to speak up for Brampton,” said Mayor Patrick Brown. “As one of Canada’s youngest and fastest-growing cities, the support and partnership of the federal government is key to delivering on Brampton’s priorities and vision. We look forward to a meaningful conversation on how our partners will commit to advancing transit, economic development, community safety, innovation and environment-driven initiatives in our community.”

Due to a limited amount of seating, residents are asked to register online on the Rose Theatre’s website.
