Brampton man arrested for distracted driving

Police stopped a male driver from Brampton, who was using his cell phone while driving on Steeles Avenue in Halton Hills.

Police stopped a male driver from Brampton, who was using his cell phone while driving on Steeles Avenue in Halton Hills.

The man then gave a false name and was arrested and charged with identity fraud, obstruct police, distracted driving and driving under suspension. 

Police are reminding the public to focus on the road while driving.
