Brampton man arrested in relation to shooting in May

Peel Regional Police (PRP) have made an arrest in relation to a shooting that occurred at a plaza in Brampton this past summer.

During the early hours of May 26,  a suspect armed with a gun approached a crowd of people in front of a sports bar in the area of Vodden Street East and Lakeridge Drive and began firing. 

No one was injured, and the suspect fled the scene on foot immediately after. 

As a result of the investigation, PRP has arrested a 24-year-old man from Brampton and charged him with several criminal offenses including discharging a firearm with intent.
