Ronald Ramsuchit of Brampton just won $100,000 by matching the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in the exact order in the June 10, 2020, Lotto 6/49 draw.

According to OLG, Ramsuchit, a 56-year old married father of three, discovered his win when using the Ticket Checker at a retailer.

“I scanned my ticket again and again and thought I had won $100,” he told OLG.

“I handed my ticket to the cashier and she told me I was a big winner. Then, OLG called and I saw the validation slip that showed I had won $100,000. My head grew so much I had to go home and gather my thoughts,” he added.

According to OLG, the auto body shop worker plans to renovate his home by completing his basement and share some money with his kids.

“I’m so happy and excited to win the lottery. This is the happiest day for me,” he concluded.

The winning ticket was purchased at Husky on McLaughlin Road in Brampton.

The OLG Prize Centre in Toronto has resumed in-person prize claims for winning-ticket holders of $50,000 or more by appointment only.

To best protect customers and staff, OLG has put in place appropriate health and safety protocols in accordance with guidelines from public health officials, which include physical distancing measures, the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the pre-screening of visitors before granting entry.

Currently, OLG is reaching out to major prize winners ($50,000+) who have been unable to claim their prizes due to COVID-19 to schedule appointments for in-person prize claims.

In the coming weeks, OLG will open appointments to anyone wishing to claim their prize in-person at the Prize Centre.
