Brampton Man Charged in Connection With Theft and Break and Enter

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have reported a break and enter. Two men — one from Brampton — have been accused of multiple offences.

Police say that on Friday, February 9, 2018, at around 2:13 a.m., Caledon OPP responded to a break and enter at a commercial property on Simpson Road in Bolton. 

According to police, when officers were en route, they saw two vehicles that matched the suspect vehicle description leaving the area and conducted a traffic stop.

“As police spoke with the drivers, who were placed under investigative detention, it was determined that the males were both in possession of stolen property,” said police in a recent statement.

Subsequently, Dwayne J. Taylor, 37, of Brampton, was charged with:

  • Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Theft under $5,000

Paul Michael McDonald, 35, or Clifford was charged with:

  • Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence
  • Possession of break-in instruments
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Theft under $5,000

Both accused parties are scheduled to appear before in court in Orangeville on March 15, 2018 to answer to the charges.
