Brampton Man Facing Several Charges After Violent Robbery

Durham police have have arrested a Brampton man in connection to a violent bank robbery in Ajax and an attempted robbery in Mississauga.

According to Durham Regional Police, on Monday, October 16, 2017, at around 7:10 a.m., a suspect tried to make entry at a TD Canada Trust bank in Mississauga on Tenth Line. 

“The suspect didn’t manage to make entry and fled the scene,” said Durham police.

A few days later, a TD bank in Ajax was robbed at gunpoint.

“On Friday, October 20, 2017, at approximately 7:20 a.m., an armed and masked male suspect entered the TD bank at Westney Road and Highway 2 in Ajax as employees were preparing to open for the day,” said Durham police in a statement. “He robbed the bank of a quantity of cash. No one was physically injured during the robbery.”

A search warrant was executed by Durham police on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at a residence on Trumpet Valley in Brampton. A large quantity of moeny was recovered from the residence, say police.

Jabourou Abdoulkader, 30, of Brampton was arrested and charged with robbery, armed robbery, two counts of wear disguise with intent, forcible confinement and weapons dangerous.
