Brampton Man Wanted in Human Trafficking Investigation

Two suspects have been arrested and one suspect is outstanding in a human trafficking investigation, police say.

York Regional Police said that on Wednesday March 7, a victim came forward to police with information and seeking assistance. Police subsequently began an investigation into a human trafficking incident. 

Police said on Monday March 26 that a man and a woman have been arrested and charged and a third man is sought.

Deyshon Palmer, 22, of Brampton, has been charged with: 

  • Trafficking in Persons
  • Material Benefit Resulting from Trafficking in Persons
  • Material Benefit from Sexual Services
  • Procuring/ Exercising Control
  • Use of a Firearm During the Commission of an Offence
  • Pointing a Firearm
  • Possession of a Weapon
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
  • Possession of Cannabis

Alexandra Manner, 21, of Burlington, has been charged with: 

  • Trafficking in Persons
  • Material Benefit Resulting from Trafficking in Persons
  • Material Benefit from Sexual Services
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
  • Possession of Cannabis

Marvin Bryan, 39, of Brampton, seen in our cover photo is outstanding. The suspect is wanted for: 

  • Trafficking in Persons
  • Assault
  • Witholding or Destroying Documents in Relation to Trafficking in Persons
  • Fail to Comply with Recognizance
