Rajinder Banwait of Brampton won $100,000 on June 2 after matching six of the secen winning numbers on his Encore selection playing Lotto Max.
The winning ticket was purchased online at playolg.ca.
“I’ve been playing the lottery for many years. Occasionally I win a few dollars or Free Plays,” shared Banwait while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.

A regular lottery player, Banwait found out he won when he went online to make another lottery purchase.
“That’s when I saw that I had a couple of winners – a Free Play and what I thought was $100 until I grabbed my glasses.” After Rajinder performed a celebratory happy dance, he shared the news with his family. “They were thrilled!”
Banwait has big plans for his big win. “I’ll be paying off bills of course, then a new luxury car and a trip to Mexico with my wife,” he beamed.
