The city of Brampton will be hosting local candidates at town hall ahead of the upcoming federal election to discuss important local and national issues.

This event will take place on October 9 at 7 p.m. at the Rose Theatre and will be open to the public as well as streamed live on Facebook.

Mayor Patrick Brown said, “The choices we make can have a significant impact on local issues – and we need local representatives to speak up for Brampton. As one of Canada’s youngest and fastest-growing cities, the support and partnership of the federal government is key to delivering on Brampton’s priorities and vision.”

“We look forward to a meaningful conversation on how our partners will commit to advancing transit, economic development, community safety, innovation and environment-driven initiatives in our community,” he added.

Those interested in attending are asked to register online here as there is limited seating available.
