Brampton transit detours to be aware of

Parts of the Brampton Gateway Terminal will be closed due to an ongoing water main construction on October 21, 2019 at the start of service until October 25, 2019, at approximately 6 p.m.

Parts of the Brampton Gateway Terminal will be closed due to an ongoing water main construction on October 21, 2019 at the start of service until October 25, 2019, at approximately 6 p.m.

According to the city of Brampton, all bus stops inside the terminal and along Steeles Ave will be relocated on the street.

Routes 11/11A Steeles eastbound, 54 County Court, 199 UTM Express and 511/511A/511C Züm Steeles Eastbound bus stops will temporarily be located at the south side of Steeles Avenue directly adjacent to Loblaws.
 
Routes 2 Main northbound and 502 Züm Main northbound bus stops will temporarily be located at on the east side of Main Street opposite the Gateway Terminal.
 
The bus stop for route 8 Centre and 52 McMurchy bus stops will temporarily be located in the bus-only bay on Main Street.
 
Routes 3/3A McLaughlin, 4/4A/104 Chinguagousy, 11 Steeles westbound, 53 Ray Lawson, 56 Kingknoll, 57Charolais, and 511/511C Züm Steeles westbound bus stops will temporarily be located at on the north side of Steeles Avenue west of the Gateway Terminal (in front of the Ocean’s parking lot).
The city advises passengers who are required to cross the street for their bus stop to do so only at designated crosswalks.
