With the gorgeous (and hot!) weather we’ve had, it’s only fitting that Chinguacousy Park’s outdoor amenities are now open!

Most of the park’s amenities officially opened for the summer on May 19.

So if you’re gearing up to head to Chinguacousy Park anytime soon, keep in mind that there’s tons to do.

The tropical garden and mini moo farm are now open daily from 12-8 p.m., and both are free.

Chinguacousy Park’s massive new splash pad is open for its second summer in a row daily from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. It’s situated along a sizeable 2,000 square metre trail, accessible via the central mini golf parking lot, curling club parking lots and the west parking lot and through a variety of pedestrian pathways.

The playgrounds and skateboard park are also open daily from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

As for the park’s other activities, they’re open weekends from May 19 onwards, and daily starting June 25.

That includes the petting zoo from 12-5 p.m. for $1, pony rides from 12-5 p.m. for $3.65, mini golf from 12-5 p.m. for $4 and carousel and train rides from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. for $4 per person.

Paddleboating is also open for the season on weekends as of May 19 from 12-8 p.m., and Tuesday-Friday starting June 26 from 2-8 p.m. Renting a paddleboat is just $9.50 for half an hour.

Chinguacousy Park also recently got a ton of outdoor fitness equipment like a rope ladder and pull up rings on the west end of the park, so you can take advantage of that all summer, too.
