Convenience store robbed, cashier assaulted in Brampton

Peel Regional Police (PRP) are investigating a robbery in Brampton.

Earlier tonight, a suspect entered a convenience store in the area of Dixie Road and Inspire Boulevard, assaulted the cashier, stole the cash from the register, and then fled the scene.
The extent of the cashier’s injuries is currently unknown.
Police, along with the assistance of the K9 unit, are searching the area.

The cashier did not sustain any injuries, and no weapons were seen. Police are still searching the area.
