Crews on Scene at Residential Fire in Brampton

Just after 5 p.m., Brampton Fire confirmed that there was a working fire in a townhouse basement on Bernard Avenue, near Steeles Avenue and McMurchy Avenue. 

The fire was contained to the interior of the walls and no injuries have been reported. 

The District Chief and support vehicles are on scene. 

Five apparatus are currently being cleared from the scene, and operations are nearly complete, says Brampton Fire. 

Brampton Fire reminds residents to exit their home and call 911 from an outside location if there’s a fire at home.
