Crews on scene for multiple fires at a Brampton school

Officers and Brampton Fire are on scene for an incident this afternoon.

Police say a call came in at 5:42 p.m. for reports of black smoke coming from Saint Leonard Catholic School in the area of Conestoga Drive and Evalene Court.

Brampton Fire reports multiple fires in the building’s office area. The cause is currently unknown.

No injuries have been confirmed at this time.

Crews are currently taking an offensive approach to attempt to put out the fires.

UPDATE: The fire has been put out and there are no injuries.
