Emergency crews raced to the scene of a fire in Brampton early Thursday.
The blaze broke out around 5 a.m. in a highrise building at 195 Kennedy Rd.
There’s no word yet on injuries.

UPDATE: The fire is under control and no injuries are being reported. The blaze began outside with garbage bins, spreading to second and third-floor balconies, say fire officials.
Avoid the area.
