Curbside pickup expanding at additional Brampton Library locations

Brampton Library has recently announced that Chinguacousy, Four Corners and Springdale locations are now open for holds pickup, computer, wifi use and printing.

Brampton Library has recently announced that Chinguacousy, Four Corners and Springdale locations are now open for holds pickup, computer, wifi use and printing.

Curbside Pickup will also expand to include Cyril Clark, Gore Meadows, Mount Pleasant Village, South Fletcher’s and South West Branch Libraries as of Wednesday, September 9, 2020.

Brampton Library has also introduced the several protocols in collaboration with the City of Brampton which include asking the public to leave every 90 minutes for cleaning breaks during hours of operation at the three reopening branches, the installation of plexi-glass shields, the mandatory use of masks as per the city’s bylaw as well as asking everyone to self-monitor for symptoms and not enter a library branch if feeling unwell.

These locations will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and 4 to 5:30 p.m.; and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.Cyril Clark, Gore Meadows, Mount Pleasant Village, South Fletcher’s and South West locations will offer Curbside Pickup on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm.

All services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and the library encourages customers to check their website for the latest service updates.

Items may be reserved online with a Brampton Library card number and PIN and customers may pick up held items at any of Brampton Library’s eight locations.
