Cyclist Struck by Motorcycle in Brampton

Paramedics are attending to the victim of a collision this morning.

Police were called shortly after 8:00 a.m. regarding a cyclist struck by a motorcycle at Airport Road and Maritime Ontario Boulevard.

The male victim’s injuries are currently unknown.

Officers and paramedics are arriving on scene.

Residents should avoid the area for now.

UPDATE:

Police have learned that the victim was struck by a car rather than a motorcycle. The car remained on scene.

The victim has been taken to hospital.

Eastbound Maritime Ontario is closed at Airport Road until further notice.
