Dog Shot After Police Respond to Suspicious Person in Brampton

Peel Police received a call early this morning (Aug. 27 at around 5:15 a.m.) regarding a suspicious man in Brampton.

According to police, the man was outside a home in the area of Chinguacousy Road and Williams Parkway.

Police attended the scene, and while interacting with the man, a dog became aggressive towards police.

Police say the dog was shot and is deceased.
