Driver Flees After Brampton Crash

A driver who got into a crash in Brampton is on the run on Saturday morning.

The two-vehicle collision took place near Derry and Torbram roads at 9:56 a.m.

One of the occupants of a vehicle fled, said Peel Regional Police Const. Iryna Yashnyk.

He’s described as South Asian, in his 20s, standing 5-foot-11 with a thin build. He was wearing a dark hat and jacket.

Paramedics are on scene, however, the extent of injuries is unknown.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
