Emergency Services Responding to Fire in Brampton

Emergency services, Peel Police and Brampton Fire, are responding to a fire in Brampton.

According to police, the fire occurred in a building in the area of Advance Boulevard and Strathearn Avenue.

Police say the fire, which was caused by the furnace, is contained to the roof and that Brampton Fire is currently ventilating the building.

The building was evacuated and police are advising people to avoid the area.
