An Afternoon of Classical Guitar with Megan Romano

Enjoy a beautiful Sunday afternoon of classical guitar with Brampton’s own up-and-coming classical guitarist, Megan Romano. Megan has been studying under renowned classical guitarist and composer, Patrick Roux at the University of Ottawa and is currently in her fourth year of studies. The young guitarist has also had the honour and privilege to take master classes with the legendary greats, Pepe Romero, Ana Vidovic and Emma Rush. To date, Megan has earned the Keith and Ross Macmillan Scholarship, the Gaston Heon Undergraduate Scholarships in Music (two years in a row) as well as awards in various provincial guitar competitions. She will be presenting works from Augustin Barrios, Rolland Dyens and Julio Segraras as well as others. The concert is free and refreshments will be served after the concert. Please join us!
