It’s official–the holiday season is in full swing in Brampton, and one of the city’s biggest and most bustling shopping centres is going all out to help shoppers find everything they need for everyone on their Christmas list (and it’s making sure they have festive fun while doing so).

Bramalea City Centre (BCC) has kicked off the holiday season by unveiling stunning new seasonal decor and launching a slew of fun activities throughout the shopping centre.

Some things shoppers can expect?

Black Friday giveaways, Santa photos for families and their four-legged friends, Instagramable decor throughout BCC and much more.

BCC will also be giving back this holiday season.

The shopping centre has proudly partnered with the William Osler Health System Foundation and will be donating proceeds of all Santa photos to William Osler’s three hospitals” Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness, Etobicoke General Hospital and Brampton Civic Hospital.

In fact, Santa will be making a special visit to Brampton Civic Hospital on Dec. 12.

Shoppers should note that BCC’s holiday programming will begin with its Black Friday Mystery Box installation, which awards Black Friday shoppers an exclusive opportunity to win a BCC gift card ranging from $30 – $100.

After Black Friday, BCC has a lineup of activities to get shoppers in the holiday mood.

Visitors will be pleased to hear that the highly-anticipated RGB Lit Christmas Tree, a soon-to- be BCC Christmas staple and family favourite amongst shoppers, is calling the shopping centre home for the very first time.

Perfectly situated in front of Saks Off Fifth, the area will also feature light shows scheduled
throughout the season.

The mall will also feature a larger than life gift box extravaganza, which is set to light up the mall and provide families with a memorable holiday experience and endless photo opportunities.

People who love Christmas decor will be happy to hear that BCC will be home to some very Instagramable pop-ups (#BCCHoliday).

Apart from the shopping centre’s signature Christmas tree and Santa Claus photo setup, BCC will deck the halls from top to bottom with beautifully lit and eye-popping decorations. The creative decor will include a life size JOY sign in the lower level by Second Cup, a HOPE sign in the upper level by Sephora and a HO HO HO installation across the VIP set that encourages shoppers to snap smiles as they shop.

People who can’t wait to take their kids–or pets–to set on Santa’s knee will have lots of opportunities to take some photos with St. Nick himself.
