A Brampton family is asking for help after disaster struck their business.

Sheri Cahill has created a gofundme to raise money for her father after his business, Double Bar Ranch, caught fire.

He lost his barn, movie equipment and lesson equipment. Double Bar Ranch gave many a place to learn to ride horses and train for rodeos. Cahill states that the barn burning down was the biggest loss as most income came from activities held within it.

Luckily none of the horses were injured by the fire.

Cahill also states in updates to the fundraiser that her father was unable to receive insurance for any lost equipment.

While many memories were lost in the fire, Cahill and her family are still hoping to rebuild.

“Please help if you can to get my dad through this tough time,” says Cahill. “He has given so much to so many and would never ask for anything.”

So far the campaign has raised $7,400 out of a $20,000 goal.
