A five-car crash has prompted the closure of a major Brampton intersection.
Peel police say a call regarding the collision came in shortly after 8:40 a.m.

Police say the Sandalwood and Chinguacousy intersection is currently closed.

There are no reports on injuries at this time.

UPDATE: Police say one male driver has been taken to local hospital with unknown injuries. All other drivers and occupants have suffered minor injuries.
The Major Collision Bureau is investigating
The intersection will be closed for the time being.
