Officers shut down the intersection of Williams Pkwy. and Centre St. to investigate, after tracking a suspicious vehicle and making the arrests.

According to police, there was indeed a safety warning issued after several robberies in the GTA targeting convenience stores and gas stations.
There’s no threat to public safety at the moment, say police.
UPDATE: As of 5:05 p.m., police report Williams Parkway has reopened.
