If you love to dance, get your dancing shoes ready, because a free salsa lesson is coming to downtown Brampton tonight!

How, when, where, and why, you ask?

Well, 1-2-3 Salsa – a studio located near Church and Centre at 26 Thorsby Court – is bringing three different kinds of Latin dancing to the Party in McArter Lane on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 7:30 p.m.

The lesson will actually take place at Garden Square, according to organizers of Culture Days, which run all weekend with 60 free activities all across the city.

Senior instructor at the studio, Gonzalo Olea, will kick things off with a demonstration of Latin music and dance, performing a basic, fun mix of Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba.

Afterwards, the public is invited to join in for basic lessons in all three forms of dance – exciting times!

The event is family friendly and open to people of all ages and levels.

And if it rains tonight (there is a chance it will)?

Well, Olea will still perform and teach in the rain!

“Dance in the rain,” is the rule in case the weather doesn’t cooperate and give us a nice, clear evening.

So, get ready to party, Brampton!
