Greyhound Buses Will Run from Pearson Airport Soon
We reported last week that there were plans to make Pearson International Airport into a regional transit centre that could serve as a “second Union Station” operating out of the western end of the GTA.
Although this proposal is only an idea at this current stage, with no plan and funding confirmed yet, this doesn’t mean existing transportation services haven’t bought into the idea of Pearson Airport as a major transportation hub. And one of them has put some money where their mouth is.
According to Toronto Pearson’s website, starting April 16 Greyhound will operate daily routes from Pearson to various Ontario destinations, such as Cambridge, Guelph, Hamilton, Kitchener, London, Niagara Falls, St. Catharines and Windsor. There will also be routes will also be available to destinations in Illinois, Michigan and New York.
The link to search for trips out of Pearson International to those listed locations can be found here; but remember to select any date from April 16 and onward, otherwise you’ll receive a message saying “there is no service available to this location on the date requested or at all. Please choose a different time of day, or a different date for travel.”
So book your trips carefully and happy travels everyone!
