A Presto card lets you magically tap on and ride a ton of transit systems across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) and Ottawa.

Whether you already have one or you’re looking to get one, it’s official – you can now buy and load your PRESTO card at even more Shoppers Drug Mart locations across the GTHA and Ottawa. 

PRESTO has been available at Shoppers Drug Mart for some time now. This began with just 10 locations, but by the end of 2018, you’ll be able to buy and load your card at almost 400 locations.

According to the province, 24 locations were added in York Region in March, locations in Durham Region, Oakville and Ottawa followed in April, Mississauga and Brampton in June, and Hamilton and Burlington in July.

More than half of the locations are expected to be online by August, reads a recent release from the province.

“A second phase will bring services to all remaining locations across all participating municipalities,” reads the release.

So, which Shoppers Drug Mart locations can you buy and fill your PRESTO card at in Brampton?

  • Bramalea & Sandalwood, 10665 Bramalea Road, Brampton
  • Chinguacousy & Charolais, 520 Charolais Boulevard, Brampton
  • Chinguacousy & Queen, 8965 Chinguacousy Road, Brampton
  • Heart Lake Town Centre, 180 Sandalwood Parkway, Brampton
  • Mayfield & Highway 10, 11965 Hurontario Street, Brampton
  • Queen & Kennedy, 1 Kennedy Road South, Brampton
  • Sandalwood & Chinguacousy, 10661 Chinguacousy Road, Brampton
  • Springdale Square, 49 Mountainash Road, Brampton

The card is quite versatile – you can use it on Brampton Transit, Burlington Transit, Durham Region Transit, GO Transit, Hamilton Street Railway (HSR), MiWay, Oakville Transit, OC Transpo, Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), UP Express and York Region Transit/Viva (YRT/Viva).
