Homes evacuated due to gas leak in Brampton

Police say some homes have been evacuated following a reported gas leak in Brampton.

Peel police say a call regarding the gas leak, which took place in the Oleary Rd. and Novice Dr. area, came in at 10:15 am on March 3.

Police say construction crews hit a gas line.

Homes on the east and west side have been evacuated.
