Hot Brampton Hip Hop Acts Rocked The Drake Hotel

Last Thursday, Brampton’s hottest hip hop acts came together (despite a giant snowstorm) at the Drake Hotel in Toronto to put on a memorable show in Hustle 22: A Spotlight on Brampton.

The evening was hosted by Tremayne from Stay Out Late and featured the who’s who of Brampton performers, such as Scott Free, Staasia Daniels, EverythingOShaun, Haviah Mighty and headliners Movin’ Cool (Noyz and B-Magic). The event was presented by The Academy and 40oz Heroes, who were responsible for putting together the Team Backpack Brampton Cypher video a few months ago.

The night was more than just a concert, it was a celebration of the amazing talent that currently dwells in the Flower City and the sense of community that’s building amongst said talent. Performer Staasia Daniels put it best during her set when she mentioned “Brampton, we all we got.”
