If you love the holidays, giving, and free hot chocolate, get ready for an incredible event that’s coming up very soon in Brampton!

Do you hear festive bells jingling?

No, it’s not Santa – it’s the joy and cheer that comes with CTV’s Toy Mountain! That’s right, the popular Toy Mountain event is coming to Brampton on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. in Garden Square.

This annual event is for a very good cause. Basically, you bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to less fortunate children for the holidays to add to the Toy Mountain.

The Salvation Army then delivers the toys to the less fortunate children in our community.

For the rest of the evening, you can warm up with a free hot chocolate, listen to holiday carolling, and kick off giving season.

You may or may not know that this event is quite timely – it’s on the same day at GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that comes after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, two big days for consumerism.

CTV Toronto will be broadcasting Toy Mountain live from Garden Square from 6-7 p.m. as residents gather and the mountain of toys grows in our downtown core.

So, grab as many toys as you can carry and stack them on the mountain next Tuesday!

Happy holidays, Brampton!
