Huge Sporting Event Coming to Brampton This Weekend

Hundreds of athletes will be taking over the city this weekend at an Ontario-wide event that’s happening in Brampton this weekend.
Hundreds of athletes will be taking over the city this weekend at an Ontario-wide event that’s happening in Brampton this weekend.
The Athletics Ontario Bantam (U14), Midget (U16), Youth (U18) Championship will be taking place at Terry Fox Stadium in Chinguacousy Park on Saturday, July 29, and Sunday, July 30, 2017.
According to event organizer Frank Bucca, though the number of athletes participating and staying in Brampton for the weekend will be upwards of 500.
Athletes are coming from across the province to participate!

“Our future Olympians come from these championships,” Bucca told inbrampton.com.
The meet is hosted by the Brampton Track Club, beginning at 10 a.m. on both days.
Admission for audience members is $5 per person.
