Drivers on the road today should be aware of a closure in Brampton.

Police reported around 8:15 a.m. that officers are on scene at McLaughlin Road North and Williams Parkway for a police investigation.

The intersection is expected to be closed for several hours as a result.

While a collision took place in this area around 10:00 p.m. Friday night (March 30), police have not disclosed the reason for the investigation at this time.

Residents should avoid the area until further notice.
