Kite Festival Set to Hit Brampton

If you’ve ever flown a kite or wanted to fly one, you might want to check out this family friendly event next weekend.

KiteFest Brampton takes place at the Brampton Soccer Centre from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. next weekend on June 10 and 11.

The festival is an outdoor and family friendly celebration of kites. The festival supports kite flyers, learning, and eco-friendly recreation.

KiteFest organizers say they encourage participation from all ages and all cultures.

Kite flyers are invited to bring their own kites to fly or watch professional flyers do choreographed kite performances.

Free kites are also available while supplies last, and children can build and fly their own kites!

The event is free of charge.
