Knife seen during grocery store robbery in Brampton

Police were called at 10:25 a.m. for the incident, which happened in a grocery store in the area of Queen Street East and Rutherford.
After being engaged by the store’s Loss Prevention, the suspect brandished a knife and fled on foot, police say.
No injuries have been reported.

The suspect is described as a white male with a medium/heavy build, wearing a camouflage jacket, dark blue jacket or hooded sweater underneath, a black baseball hat with red writing, blue jeans, and black boots.
A heavy police presence remains in the area for the time being.
