As of Sunday morning, April 19, the province is up to 10,578 reported COVID-19 cases, up 568 from yesterday’s report.

553 deaths have been reported.

Meanwhile, 809 people are currently hospitalized, with 247 in ICU and 196 in ICU on a ventilator.

At this time, 5,209 cases are considered resolved.

In Peel Region there are now 1,449 total cases (up 102 from yesterday’s report), with 803 in Mississauga, 587 in Brampton, 47 in Caledon, and 12 pending further information.

37 deaths have been reported in Peel, of which nine were long-term care residents — 24 in Mississauga, 12 in Brampton, and one in Caledon.

The province and region are continuing to update their numbers on a daily basis.
